Prequel To The Wedding, Part One

So you're probably wondering how a girl like me managed to get married to Lelouch, correct? Well, it all started on a warm autumn day…

I was just minding my own business, walking to my third period class in the halls of Ashford Academy. Like usual, I was daydreaming. I knew my friends, Fy and Link, were heading to the same class as I was, but we didn't meet until we all arrived there. I was running late (again) because I was crossing the courtyard to get a breath of fresh air before I was trapped in class till lunch.
As I was saying, I was daydreaming, which meant that I wasn't really paying attention. Before I knew it, I had run into someone, causing all of my books and papers to go flying. I fell forward, dragging whoever I ran into on the floor along with me. When I looked down to see who I ran into, I saw a gorgeous guy who looked to be about my age. He was quite tall, and he had dark hair and dazzling purple eyes. I could feel a blush spreading like a wildfire across my cheeks. I could feel the blush deepen when I realized that I was almost lying on top of him.
"OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY! I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION! ARE YOU OKAY?!?!" I said frantically as I got off of him.
"I'm fine. How about you?" The boy said, getting up and brushing himself off.
"I'm okay. You kinda broke my fall." I said sheepishly.
Just then, the bell decided to ring. I was sitting amongst my books and papers, and I frantically started piling them together. The boy knelt down and started to help.
"You don't have to help. I've caused you enough trouble, and now you're going to be late to class." I said.
"Well, maybe I want to help." He said with a smirk. "And you're going to be late to class as well."
I groaned and started pushing my papers together faster. The boy reached over and put his hand over mine, making me stop.
"Hmm, how about instead of rushing to be late, how about we ditch and go have some fun?" He suggested.
He looked over at me, and possibly due to the puzzled and confused look on my face, he said, "How rude of me. I haven't introduced myself. I am Lelouch Lamperouge."
"I-I-I'm Nikki." I stuttered.
"Nice to meet you Nikki. Now let's get going." Lelouch said, grabbing my wrist in one hand and some of my papers with his other hand.
He pulled me up and started running down the hallway. I had to jog quite fast to keep up with him. After awhile of running, we stopped in front of the girl's dorm.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
"I figured that you would want to put your books in your room. They look heavy and they would be a nuisance to carry around while we're ditching school. I'll be waiting right here." He answered.
"Oh. Okay." I replied, probably sounding like an idiot.
Lelouch chuckled a little, and I started for my room. I hurried and ran when I got in the building. I was of course freaking out a little. How often do you run into an amazingly hot guy who asks you to ditch class to go on a date? Well, the date thing may be an exaggeration, but still. I got to my room and threw my books on my bed. I went over to the desk that my roommate and I share and wrote her a note telling her that I was going out for a bit and if I didn't come back at a decent hour, then I was most likely kidnapped or dead. I scribbled out that last bit and then ran back down to where Lelouch was waiting. He smiled when he saw me coming.
"Let's get going." He said with a charming smile.
He led me outside of Ashford Academy, and we walked to the train station. We chatted about random things, like our schedules and stuff like that. I found out that we actually have a couple of classes together, but we apparently never really got to know each other. Well, I guess now is a perfectly good opportunity.
After awhile, we got off the train near the mall.
"The perfect place to ditch school, huh?" Lelouch said with a dazzling smile.
"Yeah, I guess it is." I said with a little laugh.
Over the next few hours, we just kinda wandered around the mall, browsing shops and other things that people normally do at the mall. I guess we lost track of time because before we knew it the sun was starting to set. I started to think about how my friends were freaking out. Just after I thought that, I heard a familiar shriek.
"OMG NIKKI YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!!!" Fy shouted, as she came running over to me.
She just kinda looked at me, then to Lelouch, then back to me. Lelouch looked at me, then Fy, and then back to me. I just kinda looked back and forth between them. I guess they were both waiting for an explanation.
I turned to Fy. "Before you start interrogating me, I would like you to meet Lelouch. He's in a couple of our classes. I was running late for third period and I ended up literally running into him, causing us both to be late. He decided that it would be better to ditch school than get in trouble for being late. So we came here, where we've been for the last few hours." I said.
I then turned to Lelouch. "This is my best friend Fy. We've know each other for several years. She tends to freak out over small things, and her imagination is overactive sometimes, which probably explains why she thought I was kidnapped or dead."
Fy started to say something, but I cut her off. "Before you even ask, NO, Lelouch is NOT my BOYFRIEND."
Lelouch turned to Fy and said, "I'm sorry for any trouble I have caused you. I would like to make it up to you. How about you join Nikki and me for a movie? Maybe I could invite my friend Suzaku if he's not busy and if you two don't mind?"
Fy blushed and stuttered a little. I knew that she found Lelouch very attractive. Well, of course she did. I mean, look at him! Well, I'm kinda getting off track, so I guess I'll continue my story.
